A brand new project is about to take root at the Château des Alpilles.
An artist residency will take place at the beginning of October.

Adebayo Bolaji will take up residence in the Orangerie for a few weeks to create a new series unique to Provence.
Adebayo Bolaji is a multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in London. At the heart of his practice is a dialogue about change and the importance of the individual within a connected society, be it anthropological, religious, historical or popular culture. The use of vibrant, metaphorical language is a crucial element of his work, helping to tell a different story in each painting, allowing the viewer to play an active role in the works. Bolaji has exhibited internationally and enjoyed artist residencies in New York and Margate, including an artist residency with Yinka Shonibare MBE Guest Projects.

It is an honor and a great pleasure to welcome this artist to the Château des Alpilles.
